Larry Harsin was born and raised on a farm in South Central Iowa. His dad bought his first Oliver in 1945 when Larry was 8 years old. They farmed with Olivers and Larry worked at Bailey Implement in Knoxville, IA from 1957 through 1960, Van Zee Implement in Pella, IA from 1960 through 1964, Spencer Steel Building and Supply (Oliver Dealer) in Spencer, IA from 1964 through 1967 and Ray's Farm Store in Estherville, IA from 1967 to 1969. Larry started farming with Olivers again in April, 1969 and just recently retired from his beef and grain farm to have more time to play with his Olivers.
